COPELAND METALS, LLC

About Us

In 1954 after settling in Henry County which is halfway between his home in Michigan and his late wife Jane's home in Louisiana, Paul Copeland started Copeland Refrigeration. Paul’s business offered sales, rental, refrigeration service and professional installation. Paul also provided 24 hour service to Middle and West Tennessee and Southwest Kentucky.

After many years, Paul enjoyed going to auctions to buy used refrigeration equipment and parts. This gave him the opportunity to save his customers money on their repairs and often left Paul with a surplus of scrap material. As time progressed, Paul found himself enjoying buying and selling scrap metal.

In the 1980's the business shifted from refrigeration to metal recycling and selling new and used metals to customers. In 1993 Paul moved his business to its present location. In 1996 when Paul retired, his youngest son David purchased the business changing its name to Copeland Metals, LLC.

Note from David Copeland:

I grew up around my dad’s example of honest and fair Christian business dealings. We are thankful for the years of business God has blessed us with. I want to share with you God’s gift of eternal life in Heaven. Please note, I said gift, not something you can work toward. No one can live good enough to enter Heaven! Only by accepting God’s perfect gift through Jesus Christ can you experience salvation. To learn more, please click on the following link: http://www.sbc.net/knowjesus/theplan.asp.
